Dr. Stuart M. McGill is a "professor emeritus, University of Waterloo, where he was a professor for 30 years. His laboratory and experimental research clinic investigated issues related to the causal mechanisms of back pain, how to rehabilitate back-pained people and enhance both injury resilience and performance."
Dr. McGill's expertise has been sought after by countless individual's seeking understanding, guidance and relief from back pain. His practice is rooted in over 240 peer-reviewed scientific journal papers from his time at the University of Waterloo within the spine biomechanics laboratory. He currently teaches clinicians and practitioners in professional development and continuing education courses around the world.
My experiences with Dr. McGill include attending McGill Method Level 1: Foundations for the pain free back & McGill Method Level 2: Assessment: Converging on a precise diagnosis. Following the consecutive week seminars (Seattle, WA & Los Angeles, CA), I ultimately became a one on one patient of Dr. McGill's at Backfitpro Inc. where is he currently the chief scientific officer.
I will be writing an detailed account of my years of back pain, many trial and errors and ultimately my time with Dr. McGill and his resources.
